Timed is an editorial style publication that is based on two dialogues taken from an interview and from articles, each about the combination of unlikely disciplines. The interview was conducted with Brad Upton, a track coach and incredibly successful comedian.

The performance and track-based content informs a majority of the publications style, with tab dividers to separate sections that also bring in the look of a track into the physical design. Many of the text based pages are separated by full page bleeds that also help to dictate the pacing of the publication. Time stamps from the transcription of the interview were kept to serve as section markers, and their placement on the tabs also helps lend themselves to the language of track. The green italic text is from the articles, and the condensed typeface reflects any content from the interviews.
