For this project I was able to work with the incredibly talented Zara at Zara Hair Studios to create a logo and business card design package. Our focus was clean design that could allow room for experimentation with color and texture, which resulted in an incredibly versatile logo that captures the spirit of her business in any application. The final deliverable was then printed using gold foil, making the new logo pop while also bringing a luxe feel to the business.
The diagonal line was developed in early iterations of the design to reference the horizontal strokes of shears. It was later incorporated into the logo's custom text design which combines the 'Z', 'H', and 'S' from the brand's title. The industry's artistic nature influenced the watercolor texture that is present in this version of the logo's digital form.
